About the Artist
My name is Katherine Gleaton, and I’m an artist living on James Island, South Carolina (about 15 minutes away from downtown Charleston). I have lived in the area since March 2018, and do not plan on leaving anytime soon.
Prior to moving here in 2018, I attended Presbyterian College where I studied Psychology and Studio Art under the guidance of some pretty incredible professors. And prior to college, I lived in the quaint coastal town of Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
I gather inspiration from the mountains of North and South Carolina, various travels, and the beautiful coastal towns I’ve lived in.
