I photographed this spot one evening upon arriving to Ellis Creek Fish Camp for dinner back in spring of 2022. The stark difference of color between the warmth of the sun, and the coolness of the shadows inspired me to do a series of these paintings. This 8” x 10” is the original/first of many.
I popped it in a natural oak frame and it’s currently sitting on a side table of mine amongst some small potted plants. This is a great painting to hang on a small wall space, amongst others of similar color and composition as part of a gallery wall, on a console, large side table, or shelf space.
